David Agorastos

Financial Economist

Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division

David Agorastos is a financial economist in the Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Agorastos’ research interests include housing economics/finance, financial economics, and consumer finance. Before joining the OCC in 2024, he had been an economist and a research intern at the Federal Housing Finance Agency and an applied science intern at Uber. He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in applied mathematics and economics from the University of the Pacific.
