Chief Executive Officers of all National Banks; all State Banking Authorities; Chairman, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System; Chairman, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; Conference of State Bank Supervisors; Deputy Comptrollers (Districts); District Administrators; District Counsel and Examining Personnel
Information has been received that banks and other entities have been receiving official looking instruments that have no financial value. The instruments have appeared in various places in the United States, particularly in the State of Texas, and one in Puerto Rico. The instruments contain the heading "Republic of Texas" and include a seal, Warrant Number, and state they are issued to:
The Republic of Texas Trust c/o HCR-74 Box 101A Fort Davis, TPZ 79734, The Republic of Texas
The instruments appear to be originated by Richard Lance McClaren, "Chief Ambassador and Consul General" of the so-called Republic of Texas.
