The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in partnership with NeighborWorks America-Northeast Region, are sponsoring this event in New York, N.Y. Designed for staff of community-based organizations, the event will review the basics of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and discuss best practices employed by community organizations to collaborate effectively with banks. Topics covered include an overview of the CRA, understanding the impact of bank performance context, bank activities that qualify for CRA consideration, and strategies to develop successful partnerships with banks.
