The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland (Pittsburgh Office), in partnership with the Northwest Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board will host this event. The goal of the event is to facilitate information exchange around workforce development needs for low- and moderate-income communities in northwest Pennsylvania (Erie, Warren, and Crawford Counties) and to encourage potential partnership opportunities. The regulators will provide a high-level overview of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and how bank activities supporting workforce development can receive favorable CRA consideration. Staff of the Workforce Development Board will discuss the organization’s goals, opportunities, and challenges, as well as services they provide to promote job creation and retention for low-income workers. For more information, please contact OCC Community Affairs Officer Genevieve Chow at Genevieve.Chow@occ.treas.gov.
