WASHINGTON — The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today announced that it had designated Brad Linskens a Senior National Bank Examiner.
The Senior National Bank Examiner designation recognizes examiners who have distinguished themselves through high-quality performance and service as field examiners, subject matter experts, and advisers on highly complex and technical bank supervision issues. Being designated a Senior National Bank Examiner is the highest honor for national bank examiners.
“Brad joins a very distinguished list of examiners who have earned the title of Senior National Bank Examiner,” said Comptroller of the Currency Thomas J. Curry. “Brad has certainly earned this honor during his 23-year career at the OCC and has greatly contributed to fulfilling our mission of ensuring the safety, soundness, and fairness of our federal banking system.”
Mr. Linskens joined the OCC in 1993, with more than 10 years of industry experience in consumer and mortgage lending. He became a commissioned National Bank Examiner in 1996 and went on to distinguish himself with exceptional technical, analytical, and retail credit skills. Mr. Linskens served as the Retail Credit lead at U.S. Bank from 1999 to 2006 and at Wells Fargo from 2006 to 2011. He became the Examiner-in-Charge (EIC) at Union Bank in 2011 and currently serves as the EIC at Wells Fargo, where he leads the ongoing engagement and oversight of this large, complex national bank. In addition to these positions, Mr. Linskens has been an active member of the OCC community and served as a member of the OCC’s Retail Credit Risk Committee and OCC’s National Risk Committee.
