Deposit-Related Credit

Overview

This booklet provides an overview of the types of deposit-related credit and discusses prudent risk management practices and regulatory requirements. Banks may offer customers a variety of unsecured credit products and services that are related to their deposit accounts.

Applicability

This booklet applies to the OCC's supervision of national banks and federal savings associations. References to national banks in this booklet also generally apply to federal branches and agencies of foreign banking organizations.
