Maxime Roy is a senior financial economist in the Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Roy's research interests include the use of alternative data in credit screening, the financing of higher education by students and their families, and the risk of default on consumer credit, as well as the securitization of student loans, the pricing of asset backed securities, and environmental economics. Dr. Roy joined the OCC in 2015 and received his doctorate in economics from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to this, Dr. Roy had been an intern and a contractor for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and he completed a BA in economics and environmental studies at McGill University.
