CRA Workshop "Beyond the Basics" (Kansas City, MO - March 26, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City are co-sponsoring an advanced CRA workshop for bankers in Kansas City, Missouri on March 26, 2019. This is a knowledge-sharing event tailored for experienced CRA Officers. The training provides a discussion of self-assessment, performance context, and how a bank can assess community development needs. Case studies will be used to provide realistic scenarios as discussion background. CRA: Beyond the Basics (Washington, DC - March 28, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond are co-sponsoring a workshop in Washington, DC on March 28, 2019. The workshop is designed for experienced bank CRA and compliance officers. Using case studies and small group discussions, this workshop will provide a review of banks? self-assessment concepts and tools, data collection and reporting, using performance context in performance evaluation, identifying needs and opportunities, demonstrating responsiveness, and summarizing and communicating findings. Roundtable: Opportunities in Economic Development for Central Florida (Orlando, FL - April 9, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation are co-sponsoring a roundtable in Orlando, Florida on April 9, 2019. Attendees will hear from leaders of federal, state and local economic development programs regarding activities that revitalize communities, support small businesses, and create jobs. The roundtable will focus on what works for successful partnerships with banks, CDFIs and community organizations. Interagency Forum for Hurricane Michael Disaster Recovery: A Follow-up on Housing and Small Business Needs (Panama City, FL - April 10, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta are co-sponsoring a forum on April 10, 2019 in Panama City, Florida. The forum will discuss next steps for Hurricane Michael recovery in the Florida Panhandle. The meeting will include banks, CDFIs, community organizations and governmental representatives in order to have an in-depth discussion of recovery needs, best practices and financial institutions support for recovery and rebuilding. SoCal Bankers CRA Roundtable (Los Angeles, CA - April 11, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco are co-sponsoring a roundtable on April 11, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. This roundtable will provide practical information on how banks can work effectively with minority and women-owned small businesses. The roundtable will also feature local experts who will share information about regional community development lending, investment, and services projects and initiatives.
