The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Community Sustainability Enterprise, and the Central Gwinnett High School are cosponsoring a forum on February 27, 2020, in Lawrenceville, Ga. This forum will bring together bankers and educators to discuss opportunities to educate K-12 students about banking and how to open and manage bank accounts and build relationships with financial institutions. Also to be discussed are opportunities for financial institutions to support youth workforce development programs and how nonprofit organizations can help them implement these programs. The forum will feature representatives from banks and credit unions that have financial education programs and existing partnerships with schools.
