Bianca Werner

Senior Financial Economist

Bianca Werner is a Senior Financial Economist in the Policy Analysis Division of the Economics Department at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Werner joined the OCC in 2016, after completing a Ph.D. in Finance from Boston College in 2016.  She also holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Delaware and a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Lafayette College.

Dr. Werner’s research interests include banking and other financial institutions, regulatory capital, registered funds, trusts, retirement plan products and services, conflicts of interest, and methods to assess the economic impact of regulatory changes.
