Alice Jun is a Financial Economist in the Compliance Risk Analysis Division with the Economics Department at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Dr. Jun joined the OCC in 2018. She holds a Ph.D. in finance from Northwestern University. Her work focuses on banking and finance. Her job market paper explores the role of small banks in financing small businesses.
Since joining the OCC, Dr. Jun completed an internal whitepaper that addresses the role of machine learning in anti-money laundering efforts. She is currently looking at fair lending risk on the basis of sexual orientation.
